NEW LIFE SOCIAL WELFARE CENTRE is a registered under the Society act with the aim of the vision of Children’s development is to win kids to society. We reach out to children with the message of Care, unconditional love, guiding them to grow into a personnel. Our Organization is mainly working in the priorities of shelter for the homeless children, education, health care, community development in the rural, semi-urban and the coastal areas of Thiruvallur District.
We have a team of dedicated grassroots volunteers, experienced and qualified educational counselors, skilled and qualified doctors and paramedics on our panel, thus enabling us to successfully implement our programmes effectively with result orientation.
Our contact person, the executive president is a veteran in this field of social work and has received appreciations from the governmental organizations on several occasions while implementing the programmes. She will be fully responsible for proper implementation, monitoring and evaluation of this project.
As we look back we had started with the ministry work in 1994, till about 1994 we worked in the villages doing social work with support of local philanthropists , who needy children, who needed love and care
The Year was 2004, Tsunami was at its verge in Tamilnadu between the Chennai to Nagapattinam we had visited the affected place where we witnessed the poor condition of the people living there, many innocent children died every day, many of them were taken to nearby refugee camps on visiting these refugee camps we had seen as to how helplessly 30,000 Children living, without any clothes on, no one near by to take care of them, education and proper food was far from reality.
In 2004 we had taken 25 children, even thought we did not have much to provide we took the aim of our NLSWC and Now as we look back we have come a long way, as we were taking care of these children help was on the way with from my friends, who was in Chennai that they would like to sponsor the children, that is how NLSWC Children Home was initiated, we now have 2 centers providing for the orphans and abandoned children.

NLSWC, has been since 2004 empowering orphans and abandoned children in India . We took into our home 25 children, not knowing what to give them and how to take care of them, like minded people showed us the way. Today the needs of NLSWC children are ever so increasing, as we have to take care of the needs and requirements of more. At our Tamilnadu we have rented two buildings one for the girls and the other for the boys & Old people, and the skill training centre for the widowers and deserted women, the rent that is being paid can cover the expenses of 20+ children,
There are many more requirement that they are not to be left alone or to be thrown away mercilessly just because these miniature human race are so tender and helpless to raise their hands to protest or are wordless to question the hellish brutality of the so called civilized modern human beings.
It was initiated in 2004 there were just 25 children, This Ministries is spread with a total strength of 36 children..
Our Goal for NLSWC is to work toward each child’s development , aged and widowers with emphasis on equipping each them to become a self - sustaining, responsible citizen.
Our steady vision for the children is to Empower the Abandoned and Orphaned Children, aged people and widowers.
The Future of NLSWC is to see the children equipped with the basic amenities to lead a truthful, dedicated and honest life, We plan to build a Village home (shelter) where a group of children is give homely care, support and nurturing.
