CSO Partners is a non-profit that is committed to mobilizing resources and providing appropriate support services for Civil Society Organizations. Through an extended base of consortium partners specialized in relevant services, CSO Partners develop appropriate program opportunities for various contributors who include government‚ corporate bodies and individuals to engage with civil society organization in a process of social change that benefits all stakeholders. It has established a support partners’ network in varied areas ranging from donor services‚ volunteering, social investment services‚ financial management‚ governance‚ documentation‚ advocacy and communications.

This section is managed by the NGO and civil society stakeholders. Information here provides civil society organizations to promote dialogue and disseminate information on development and to enhance collaborations and learning with key players in the development sector. The purpose is to have greater control over development processes and make these inclusive and equitable.

We will have one goal for AOR 2010: to deliver the 16 best presentations on resilience that you will hear next year. From the 29 countries and 2.5 billion people in our Council areas, we seek knowledgeable, innovative and entertaining presentations from public and private sector participants in emergency management, security, crisis management, business continuity management, risk management or disaster relief.
 
 
 
 

What’s our standard for a good presentation? Watch a TED presentation at www.ted.com. If you are a great presenter, or you know someone who is, visit the IAEM Asia www.iaem.com.sg or IAEM Oceania www.oceania-iaem.com web sites. Then:

  1. Submit a link to video of the presenter on YouTube, Google Video, Vimeo, etc.,
    on any resilience topic, OR
  2. Email a video clip of the presenter to Chris Tan at chris.tan@iaem.com.sg, OR
  3. Submit a link to a PowerPoint? or Keynote? presentation by the presenter, on any resilience topic, OR
  4. Email a PowerPoint? or Keynote? presentation by the presenter to Chris Tan at
    chris.tan@iaem.com.sg

Presenters for AOR 2010 will be selected, in part, by the votes of visitors to the IAEM AOR 2010 web site, where we will post the submitted presentations and videos.
